The hide is transported by a belt to the correct position under the camera and in stages back to the user for the qualifying. Minimizing waste starts with the exact recording of the leather hides, including all defects and quality-zones. An employee digitises exactly the size and position of all blemishes on the hide accordingly to the internal guidelines of your quality management. With the scanEXPERT conveyor every hide will be automatically documentated regarding size, quality zones, supplier name, colour and other information in a special hide database. This guarantees a perfect overview and management of your stock and enables you an instant comparison with the record of your supplier. On account of the barcode-labelling on all hides after the scanning took place you can easily identify each hide and monitor their movement through the production process.
