New development presented at Freiberg Leather Days in Dresden

Manuel Bruder, Managing Director and Head of Research & Development presented the concept of automatic flaw detection to a specialist audience at this year’s Freiberg Leather Days in Dresden.

At the 8th Freiberg Leather Days specialists from tanneries and the leather industry came together once again. Many interested guests visited the event organised by VGCT which, this year, was held as part of the XXXV. IULTCS International Congress in Dresden.

The Scientific and Technical Sessions kicked off with a presentation by Manuel Bruder. "You need humans for leather identification! Is this really the case?" This provocative title certainly drew many listeners to the conference hall at 9 o’clock in the morning.
